Stavroz

Stavroz is a Belgian electronic music collective that plays a fusion of ethnic, acoustic, and organic elements within electronic music. Formed in 2011 by DJs and sound engineers IJsbrand and Gert, the group later welcomed Maxim and Pieter to complete their dynamic. Together, the four friends have birthed a signature sound that blurs the lines between tradition and innovation, or as they themselves say: East and West.

Their breakout release “The Ginning” on Délicieuse Records quickly gained international acclaim, reaching the #1 spot on Hype Machine and earning Vinyl of the Month by Germany’s Faze Magazine. Since then, Stavroz has released on notable labels such as Kindisch, Bedrock, Laut & Luise, and founded their own imprint, Moodfamily, based in Ghent.

As they grew to occupy a niche in the underground, landscape, Stavroz has built a global reputation while keeping their roots alive through their weekly radio presence on Belgium's Studio Brussel.
