About Boris Brejcha
Born in 1981 in Ludwigshafen, Germany, Boris Brejcha faced significant adversity early in life. After surviving the Ramstein air disaster, he spent months recovering in the hospital. His resulting physical scars led to isolation and a growing interest in music. Influenced by a classmate's "Thunderdome" CD, Boris began producing electronic music at the age of twelve, marking the start of an exciting journey.
In 2006, Boris took his first steps into professional music. His debut performance at the Universo Paralello Festival in Brazil introduced the world to his signature Joker mask, inspired by Brazilian Carnival. With a distinct genre he coined "High-Tech-Minimal" Boris rapidly gained recognition, signing with Autist Records and later Harthouse.
By 2015, he founded his own label, Fckng Serious, further propelling his career. Through his recorded sets with the French streaming channel "Cercle" and his set at the acclaimed "Tomorrowland" festival, he amassed about 140 million YouTube views combined. He also established a popular fashion brand and a unique concert gimmick: his personalized squeaky duck with the Joker mask.
