Riviera Underground Showcase by Dowtown Tulum Radio presents TONI VARGA in company of four more DJs/Producers for an event of over nine hours of nonstop music. 

Downtown Tulum Radio is the newest electronic music radio station in Mexico, based in the Mexican Caribbean Tulum. As for Riviera Underground, it is an underground label based in Playa Del Carmen Mexico. Three of them -OSCAR , EDGAR & CARLOS VELAZQUEZ- will be playing B2B for a 5hr long set. 

This showcase brings these DJs and Producers together to perform inside Mia Beach Club Tulum, a place where the connection between travelers and locals will come easily with the sounds of techno and house. 

🇪🇸 TONI VARGA

Toni's unique tech house sound has become synonymous with the spirit of Ibiza. His performances at clubs like Amnesia, Pacha, Space, La Diosa, and Pin Up have cemented his reputation on the island. From 2004 to 2010, Toni was one of Amnesia Ibiza’s resident DJs, playing for acclaimed events like People From Ibiza and Contact. This paved the way for his participation in the prestigious Amnesia World Tour, extending his reach to more than thirty countries.

Toni's prolific studio work has resulted in over 40 releases across labels such as Octopus, Moan, Form, Lapsus Music, Amazing, Voltaire Music, Tech Recovery, and Time Has Changed. His unique sound has been showcased at festivals including Creamfields, Monegros, Dreambeach, Neo-Pop, Space Sydney Festival, Culture One, Day One, and the Winter Music Festival.

Oscar Velazquez, a disc jockey and producer from Mexico City, has left an indelible mark on the global dance/electronica music scene over the past two decades. In 2005, he initiated his radio show "Club Ten 0 Nine," which continues to air on Beat 100.9 FM, Mexico's leading radio station, reaching an impressive 3.7 million listeners per week.

Velazquez has made significant contributions to the music world with more than 160 remixes and tracks produced for artists such as Diana Ross, Ariana Grande, Dua Lipa, Pink, Madonna, Ed Sheeran, Zedd, and Kylie Minogue. His music has been signed by major dance music record labels worldwide. 

Not confined to Mexico, his work has resonated in Asia, South America, and Europe, with performances in cities like Shanghai, Rio de Janeiro, Toronto, Amsterdam, and Paris. 

🇲🇽 CARLOS VELAZQUEZ

This local DJ has a commanding presence in the Southeast of Mexico. His nationwide residencies, coupled with international performances in Panama, Guatemala, Rio de Janeiro, Florianopolis, and Sao Paulo, have elevated him as a favorite amongst Mexican club-goers. Currently, his weekly residencies at the glamorous Hotel ME in Cancun and his energetic sets broadcasted every weekend on his radio show on QFM 104.3, maintain him at the pinnacle of Mexican DJs.

 🇲🇽 EDGAR VELAZQUEZ 

This DJ was awarded the Best Club DJ 2007 by DJ Concept, a magazine specializing in nightlife and DJs, a recognition that led to him being the most booked DJ across Mexico for several consecutive years. Recently, he had the prestigious opportunity to open for DJ Peter Rauhofer at the Vallarta Fest, further cementing his stature in the industry.
