SET Underground's Oaxaca Festival Experience

🌺💀 TIERRA DE LOS MUERTOS 💀🌺

From Friday, October 28th to Tuesday, November 01st expect a four-day music and arts festival in the beautiful Oaxaca, México. 

A celebration for the "Dia de Los Muertos"; a Mexican tradition like no other that will take your mind, body, and soul to La Tierra de Los Muertos – the Land of the Dead.

Founded by Christian Pineiro,  SET Underground invites you to transport to this "immersive, and truly one-of-a-kind celebration".

The first and last day of the festival will be at Oaxaca Centro. Saturday and Sunday will be at Mitla, Oaxaca, however, transportation is included with your ticket.

🇫🇷 RAFAEL CERATO

French DJ and producer of Progressive House and Techno music based in Marseille, known for combining emotional sounds adding his own voice and guitar with a touch of new wave.

Rafael has made releases on labels such as Systematic Recordings, Diynamic Music, and Stil Vor Talent and runs his own Ritual label and events.

🇺🇸 SABO &  GOLDCAP 

William Sabatini best known as Sabo is a DJ, Producer, and label owner with tropical poly-rhythms, bass frequencies, percussions, tribal vocals, and organic textures. 

His label is  “Sol*Selectas Records” where a list of underground DJs and Producers from various places are distinguished for these tribal sounds. 

Goldcap is a DJ and Producer with a versatile style,  he tends to incorporate an eclectic array of samples into his sets.

 LAOLU

DJ of techno and house. 

He has released on labels such as Innervisions, Freude Am Tanzen, Defected Clap Your Hands, Mental Groove, Fenou, Baobab Music, Jalapeno Records, and Soundway Records.

🇩🇪 JAN BLOMQVIST 

Berlin-based solo artist and bandleader who invented concert techno. As a solo artist, he tends to play club soul, and with expertise in his field, he creates his own musical journey. 

He has over 1,000,000 monthly listeners on Spotify and has performed in numerous gigs around the globe.

IMPORTANT INFO

● SHUTTLES | Available for Saturday's festivities. Transportation is included with your ticket. 

Location for shuttles- Southeast corner of El Llano park on Calle Pino Suárez in the Centro district of Oaxaca starting at 7:45 pm and will continue through the end of festivities (Sunday and Monday morning). 

● FLIGHTS | All the flight options from the US go primarily through Texas, Mexico City, or Guadalajara before Oaxaca. Direct flights are hard/ impossible to find. 

● HOTEL |🏨 List of hotels & reserved rooms: use "SET UNDERGROUND" as a booking reference. Private luxury villas are available. For villa rental questions contact us. 

● THE CITY | Most of Oaxaca's areas of interest for visitors are on the Centro. You can find more things to do here> Things to do while visiting Oaxaca

📍Day 1- Galeria de los Cien Rooftop (Oaxaca Historic Centro District, El Zocalo)

📍Day 2- Fortaleza Fields (Mitla, Oaxaca)

📍Day 3- Casa Rocha Garden (Tlalixtac)

📍Day 4- Casa Vitral (Centro)

● ALTARS | On Sunday & Monday there will be an altar set up for those who want to show respect for their loved ones who have passed away. You'll need to bring a 4x6 picture and the event hosts will be providing some frames. You can also frame it if you want to bring a bigger or different size. 

● FREE DRINK FOR DONATED TOY | There will be an exchange of a free drink to whoever brings a toy or toys for donation. More than one toy or used toys are accepted, however, they must be in good shape. 

● All events will host a full bar and serve top-shelf liquor.

● Covid Restrictions- Everyone must follow Oaxaca and Mexico guidelines.
