Few artists bring a truly original sound to house music, but Martin Stimming has done just that. Emerging from Hamburg, Germany, he quickly gained recognition for his sophisticated yet accessible approach to music.

His breakthrough came in 2008 with Una Pena on Solomun’s Diynamic Music, and after that his debut album, Reflections (2009), solidified his reputation as one of the most exciting new producers of his generation. Always evolving, Stimming’s second album, Liquorice, broke away from traditional house structures, embracing a more textured, emotional, and experimental sound. He is known for his unique field recordings, ensuring that no sample is ever reused.

His live performances (since Stimming does not DJ) have captivated audiences, making him win the Best Newcomer at the Ibiza DJ Awards.
