Rodriquez Jr, also known as Olivier Mateu, is an award-winning music producer and live performer with 20 years of experience in the electronic music industry. He made a name for himself as one half of French electro act The Youngsters, releasing music on F-Communications label under the mentorship of Laurent Garnier. Mateu has since honed his style into the dynamic, colorful sound of beauty, now regularly found on Mobilee, Anjunadeep, and in demand for remixes of various artists. He has performed in international festivals and venues, concluding The Soundgarden at Tulum and more!

Mateu's live performances draw inspiration from vintage synthesizers, keyboards, and analog gear in his Paris studio, and he has amassed a devoted and loyal fan base through the creation of his unique movement. He performs at world-renowned clubs every week and has played at huge festivals such as Sziget, Lightning in A Bottle, and Sonar Festival. He has also formed a special musical partnership with former Nouvelle Vague vocalist Liset Alea, and their ongoing live RJLA project fuses organic charms of live instrumentation with cutting-edge music for the dancefloor, presented at selected events.

Mateu continues to have an exceptional output, with his last release on Mobilee Radian entering the Beatport top ten within three days following release.
