JP Candela

JP Candela is a Madrid-born DJ and producer based in Ibiza, with over 15 years of influence on the island’s club scene through residencies at venues like Space Ibiza, Pacha Ibiza, Hï Ibiza, and most recently Cova Santa and Playa Soleil. A regular at global festivals like Ultra, Creamfields, and Medusa, he’s also brought his sound to cities across Europe, Asia, and the Americas.

Candela’s music is a journey through the foundations of ’80s techno, ’90s house, and 2000s progressive electronic music, evolving into a style that spans Afro House, Melodic House, Indie Dance, and Melodic Techno. He’s remixed for artists including David Guetta, SIA, Kid Cudi, Snoop Dogg, and New Order, as well as classic electronic tracks like “Strings of Life” and “Plastic Dreams.”

In 2023 he launched ĀMA Music, a label and event series now hosting top-tier names at Lula Club Madrid. Recent releases like ATACAMA and THAR have hit Beatport’s top charts.

JP Candela keeps appearing consistently at key events like SUMMERIANS, helping define the sound of Ibiza’s Afro Melodic House scene as it expands globally.
