CRUSY

Mikel known as Crusy is a Madrid-based Spanish DJ and producer who began his musical journey in 2009. At 15, he was already captivated by electronic dance music, mixing records. His early work garnered attention from artists like David Penn, leading to a remix collaboration in 2020.

Ranked 26th globally as a top producer in 2024 (and 31st in 2023 for most supported producers), Crusy has numerous Beatport Top 10 tracks and collaborations with house artists such as Hugel, Mark Knight, Dombresky, and Low Steppa, and Tony Romera. He officially remixed Fatboy Slim’s "Love Island," leading to a B2B DJ set with Fatboy Slim in Madrid.

As a global touring presence with over 80 international shows in 2024, he has performed in cities including Madrid, Hong Kong, Montreal, Los Angeles, Tokyo, London, Berlin, among dozens of others. Notable venues include Amnesia Ibiza, Ushuaia, Hï Ibiza, Chinois, and Claptone's The Masquerade. His sets often incorporate House and Tech House but span various underground electronic genres.

He attributes his career progression to Mark Knight, who provided guidance and opened doors, teaching him a relentless work ethic and a commitment to producing music that fits his diverse sets. 

He emphasizes the importance of a consistent routine, personal health, and a supportive team, and he believes true success depends on self-belief and consistent effort. Although acknowledging the rise of AI, his belief is that genuine human connection in music is irreplaceable.
