Biesmans

Joris Biesmans is a Belgian-born, Berlin-based DJ, and producer with over 25 years of experience. His extensive training, vast synth sample collection, and background as Watergate’s sound technician shape his productions and sets: a balance of electro, space disco, Hi-NRG, and techno.

Biesmans performs at renowned clubs and festivals, from Watergate, London’s Fabric, Grand Factory in Beirut, D-edge in São Paulo, and Tonhalle in Zurich, to Tomorrowland, EXIT, Fusion, and Pukkelpop. 

Originally releasing under the name Cashmere, Biesmans later produced EPs for TVe, and is now a fixture on Watergate Records alongside Running Back, Turbo, Correspondant, Aeon, and Future Disco. He currently organizes social media “POV sessions” from his personal studio, and focuses on his own productions and growing Muem Records: his own label.
