Revelation: Pulse of Gaia

Zamna reveals a new party for their expanded New Year’s Eve season with Pulse of Gaia, a new festival concept: Pulse of Gaia Tulum is designed as a harmonic convergence of music, architecture and environmental awareness. After an acclaimed preview in Madrid (where Gorillaz headlined) the production now travels to Tulum for its jungle edition: now the connection between human architecture and the earth is reverted, with the jungle as the setting and the Mayan ruins as a backdrop.

Unlike other Zamna productions, Pulse of Gaia is built as a multigenre platform, with artists taken from across electronic and live music genres rather than focusing on one style. Each event in Zamna’s NYE program carries its own curated lineup, and Pulse of Gaia stands out as the space where genres and cultures meet.

The concept behind Pulse of Gaia is a direct call to connection: between human experiences, humans and nature, and humans and the sacred forces of the universe, understanding that music has always been a way to reach the divine. In line with this vision, the festival partners with Re:wild, a global nonprofit for conservation of biodiversity, to raise awareness and action for protecting ecosystems and fighting depredation, pollution and the destruction of the environment.

What Do We Know?

For Tulum’s debut, Justice (the Parisian duo that defined an era of electronic music) will headline the night. More artists and performances will be revealed soon.

Tha aperture of the Madrid edition already proved that the model works: during the first installation of the party the organization boasted of precise control and communication for arrivals and departures from the stage, excellent sound and lighting, punctuality, strong artist selection, and enough bars and bathrooms to minimize waiting. The Tulum launch is expected to maintain this level of organization, now directly from the cradle of Zamna.
